A: While biltong is delicious snack for us, it’s not always safe for dogs. Many store-bought versions contain high levels of salt and spices, which can be harmful. Some biltong also has added preservatives and flavourings that may upset your dog’s stomach. If you want to give your dog a treat, plain, unsalted, and unseasoned dried meat in moderation is a safer alternative.
